We love this resort. This was the second summer in a row that we stayed. We have referred 2 friends who will be staying later in the summer. The staff is friendly and easy to work with. The resort is perfectly located. Serene and peaceful yet conveniently close to amenities
We arrived at our cabin to realize there was not an XBOX, as was mentioned on the reservation. The staff immediately tried to locate one for our son, but they had all been placed in other cabins. That night someone delivered a brand new XBOX to our cabin, stating that the manager had gone out and bought one. That is exceptional service! Our cabin was clean and very well kept. We truly enjoyed our stay and have already recommended it to several friends and family members. ESR has done an outstanding job!!!
Marty was incredibly helpful with our last minute reservations! We are so glad we did! Eagles Nest is wonderfully appointed. The kitchen could use some hot mits (safety)and a measuring cup. The home theatre was great, but the video quality could be improved w/ a HDMI cable. The setting is perfect for relaxing!!
I would highly recommend this facility good location, great views, fantastic facility with great cabin ammenities. Great place to kick back, grill out, site see, and most importantly relax. You are literally only 15 minutes from dowtown Gatlinburg with your own private paradise nestled away in the mountains.
Suggestions: better quality towels, coat hooks on wall near front door, mud seeping thru gravel gets tracked onto deck and into cabin......all minor issues but easy to remedy. We were very pleased with the cabin and the amenities within it and it was ideal for our extended family. The staff was very responsive to our needs and the overall experience for us was extremely positive.
Hi David! thank you for the review and recommendations. We've added the coat hooks, very good idea. It's been so wet this year we've had a little trouble with the mud, but everything is drying up and we're re-treating the roads to avoid the problem going forward. Thanks again.

We absolutely loved this cabin. We were upgraded to a 3 bedroom (we are a family of 4) and it was basically way to big! Can't complaint about that! Clean, spacious, beautiful views and we even saw some bear cubs next to our cabin! Will come again for sure. Thanks!

Had a gaming console brought to us twice because the first one wasn't working. On call individual was great for doing that for us. SUPER CLEAN AND TONS OF ROOM!!! We are already planning our trip next year.
We were excited from the moment we got there. The place truly looked like the no let downs what so ever!!
We had a great time over all but the only thing was that downstairs was really warm and the air conditioner didnt work down there. overall really good.
Hi Tiffany, glad you enjoyed your stay. After reading the review we sent maintenanc to check on the HVAC unit and all the vents were closed downstairs causing it to be a little warmer.
My family had a wonderful vacation while staying in Eagle's Nest at Elk Springs. We were VERY comfortable in the cabin and had everything we needed with the exception of phone service. A great place to go -- a hard place to leave!
We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Eagles Nest. Everything was as pictured and in great condition and clean! Our ONLY complaints (and they are MINOR) are that the lighting in the bathroom showers could be better and we wished there had been more pots/pans in the kitchen. But having said that - the movie room was fantastic, the jacuzzi tubs in the bathroom awesome after long hikes, and just the whole layout of the cabin was great. We couldn't have asked for a better rental for our money. Can't wait to visit again.
Stay was great! We did have issues with the internet connection not working properly. We were able to connect to the cabin next door, but had some connectivity issues with the connection.
It appeared that the cabin was fairly new. We did see a mouse in the cabin but I'll take that over a bear anyday. We plan on coming back next.
great place. there was a bunch of trash below the cabin. I guess people just throw it down the bank. Hard to monitor.

Very nice, roomy cabin. Clean and well maintained. Quiet at night and away from it all, yet 10 min from center of Gatlinburg.
Good amenities, nice view. Look forward to coming back.
If u had a blu-ray player or PS3 (which technically is a blu-ray player) hooked up to the projector in your theater room I am almost positive that anyone who books a 'theater cabin' because it has a theater in it would be 200% happier about a HD player in that nice theater instead of the dvd player thats in there! Just my opinion but I think you'll get a lot more business (from anyone who cares about a theater of course)! Other than that the place was very nice!
