Silver Creek was a great place for my family and we all miss it since our vacation ended. There was plenty of room on the three levels of the cabin for the family to meet together and even more room to spread out for individual privacy after a long day of hiking in the National Park which was only minutes away. The arts and crafts community at the base of the entrance to our cabin was great and all of the people in the area were very friendly. There were grocery stores and fuel stations very close to the cabin which made it very easy to provide the few things we decided to cook for ourselves on the New Gas Grill located on the deck. It turned out great and was a nice change from going out to eat, being able to relax and eat in comfortably with great food prepared at the cabin. The staff was great and immediately met every need including bringing and leaving a WII game console with games in the living room while we were out hiking, at my request, because of the forecasted rain coming in the area. We missed most of the rain but the kids still played the WII late inot the night. The gas grill and the Hot Tube on the deck were well used. The game room with the Pool Table, Air Hockey Table and comfortable seating proved to be a very easy place to find everyone on a regular basis and the kids loved the upstairs bunk bed room. There were several cabins located near one another but each are situated so that none of the others could be seen from the large open living room windows or the private areas of the deck giving seclusion to each cabin. My family loved the experience of being in Tennessee which was only achieved by our excellent selection of Silver Creek. I've stayed in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge many times in the past forty years and this was the best place we have stayed with it's level of luxury, security and location. We will be back.
Silvercreek is a very large cabin to accomodate multiple families. Loved the space, amenities, and overall feel. Very close to shopping and downtown! Rent this cabin and you will love it!
Cabin was awesome... very clean and had everything you could possibly need. Elk Springs staff was great as usual and took care of everything we asked plus more to make it an incredible vacation. We'll be back... again and again.
We had an absolute blast...The cabin was very clean and beautiful, The community center was very nice and very close to the cabin. We had 4 families here with us and we just had a blast only problem was WASPS bad outside but other then that no complaints only good things to say about this cabin and i would recommend this property and whole resort to people, it was wonderful thank you so much for this pleasant and very fun vacation the cabin was excellent!!!!
I arrived at 6:30pm on a friday and no one was in the office, which made the check in process a little bit of a hassle but the resort was excellent......

Our whole family had an amazing trip!! The cabin was absolutely beautiful!! Next June will be my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary, they want the whole family to be able to come. We definitely will be coming back to Elk Springs Resorts!!!
We had an excellent experience with the Resort. Sivercreek cabin was open and beautiful and met our needs to host the meal for our family reunion. The cabin itself was very nice and clean. Only a few minor issues..some trees starting to grow out of the gutters, a big yellow jacket nest on the porch, and the downstairs furniture and carpet could use a little cleaning. When we return, I would bring air matresses rather than using the pullout sofas, but again overall the cabin was FANTASTIC and we would definitely stay again and are looking forward to our reunion there again next year. The kitchen was well stocked and had basically anything you could need. The staff was great regarding extra sheets and trash service when we needed it.!!! Great place for adults and kids alike. Plenty of entertainment inside the cabin as well as the close proximity to nearby attractions!!! LOVED IT!!!!

The locations is perfect. It's only 30 mins from town, but while you're on the deck, there is no traffic sounds--which makes it peaceful. The hottub didnt work the first night we were there because apparently the jets deactivated when it was cleaned. They fixed the problem the very next morning and everything went well. They provide all the dishes, so all you need to do is grocery shop unless you plan on eating out for all your meals. WE ARE DEFINETLY GOING BACK SOON!
Coming from Florida on spring break our families were excited to see snow. It was a unexpected and beautiful sight out the windows of our cabin. We stayed at Silvercreek which was beautiful and clean. Our family with 3 adult children teens and 20's along with our friends family same age children all had plenty of room. The three floors made it feel spacious the game room was a favorite! Thanks for the Spring and Winter weather all in one. Lots of activites to do around the area. Hope to visit again soon.
Our stay was the week of 3/28/09. The cabin was wonderful. Everything we expected, i.e. towels, dishes, starter quantity of dish soap... was taken car of. The cabin made our whole trip relaxing as there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy their own space. Note: only thing I have negative to say is the lighting was subdued. As a family that likes to read, the lighting was not as bright as I would like. Very relaxing though! Will definately be back!!!
the cabin was gorgeous. our youth group didn't want leave! there was plenty of space and hot water for the 12 people in our group. loved the pine tree fixtures and elk motif. the location is very convenient to the convention center, but far enough away to be in the woods. we will probably be back next year!
Silvercreek was a wonderful well kept cabin, that was everything we wanted for a mountain retreat.
The cabin was very nice and we had a great time. We could not figure out the fireplace and the grill was really hard to get to work. The only complaint is that I tried to call the people who rent the place out several times and always got a call center who wasn't very helpful. I really never could get through to anyone who could answer questions for me.
Really enjoyed our stay in the Silvercreek cabin! This was the first year our entire family celebrated Christmas away from home. However, the accomadations made us feel very comfortable. Our only disappointment was HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
the cabin was incredible. The only bad thing was the lighting on the deck. Other than that, everything was above and beyond great. It was easy check in and they kept you well informed up to the trip I recommed it to any and everyone!
We had a great time in gatlinburg. Our cabin was great and it was everything promised to us. The only problem we had was that there was no reception for our cell phones and we are with at&t. We had no way to contact people back at home once we got to the cabin. Overall i would highly recommend the gatlinburg area and Elks Spring Resort to everyone.
A superb holiday in a superb cabin.Coming from England, at the end of a long drive down from Washington, we arrived very tired but what a place to come to. Watching the sunset over the mountain top from the hot tub on the deck made the miles slip away.we have stayed at various cottages around Europe over the years but this was in a different league.Gatlinburg was a bit commercial for our tastes but we just loved Dollywood which is simply better than Disney at every level.We would recommend this cabin / resort to anyone without reservation.
I am happy to say that we were completely in awe of Elk Springs Resort. We have raved about it to everyone we know...even brought home some booklets to get the word out. We had a wonderful time. The cabin was very clean...including dishes. The grounds were well kept also. Just a beautiful place. The property managers were AWESOME. Got to speak with both of them personally and can't say enough about them. This was one of the best experiences on a vacation that we have ever had. WE WILL BE GOING BACK OFTEN...that is if we can find a time they are not already booked. HAHA Elk Springs is the vacation home for us from now on.
As this was our second time in this cabin, it was like coming home to us when we walked through the door. The kids love the cabin so much they did not even leave it the first two days we were there. We all just relaxed. Pool and Air hockey were enjoyed by all. Cabin was very clean. Staff very friendly and accomodating. Had two maintenance issues we found toward the end of the week which we reported on departure... Door from Bedroom to hot tub would not open and seat in the couch on the main level was busted through. It did not affect our stay but will hopefully be fixed for the next group. We love this cabin and will definately try to stay in it again on our next trip.

The silvercreek is a true log cabin and it is still settling a little bit since it is less than 5 years old. We periodically have to adjust those doors. The couch has been fixed...again sorry for the inconvenience. We look forward to seeing you again when you come back!
Our annual family get-together in Gatlinburg included 12 people this year. We had a blast and loved the location. The cabin was large enough and well laid out. We will definitely call Elk Springs Resort again as we have stayed with other resort companies and haven't been as pleased with the service. The cabin was nicely decorated. BUT...the cleaning company needs their hands slapped. The carpet was very dirty (needs replacing), the upstairs bathtub was dirty (mold on the shower curtain), and the lower deck was covered in green mold. I have all the confidence that this company will fix any issue that arises. STAY WITH ELK SPRINGS RESORT!!!

The cabin was breath taking!! We took our mom there for her birthday and she was totally surprised and IMPRESSED!! The cabin was VERY NEAT and CLEAN! There was plenty of room to accomodate 9 adults and 2 childern without feeling crowded. I only had two small issues. At check in the young man at the office had a little difficulty finding my reservation (I actually found it for him). Secondly, the wireless internet didn't work. Other than those issues, we had a WONDERFUL stay. I would have liked some flat screen tv's only because that's what I'm used to and it rained all weekend which keep us in more than we wanted. Don't hesitate to book this cabin!!!
