| Optional Travel Insurance
What is it? If for any reason you are unable to make your stay, we will refund 100% of any payment received less the travel insurance premium, our administrative fee and applicable sales taxes for the premium and fee.
We've Listened! In our continuing effort to improve our products and services we again have implemented your requests. Guests unsure of their plans, concerned about the economy, worried about the ability of a member of their party being able to make it on the trip or for those who just want the flexibility to cancel your reservation anytime prior to your date of stay can opt in to our travel insurance program.
Who Is eligible? Any guest booking through Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals can opt in to receive trip insurance. Trip insurance is only available at the time of booking and cannot be applied to existing reservations.
How Does It Work? When booking by phone or online, you can choose to opt in to the program. When booking online, simply check the box "include travel insurance" and the non refundable fee will be added to your booking and initial deposit. If for any reason you wish to cancel, you simply need to notify Elk Springs Resort by phone or email prior to the day of check in. Once notified we will process your refund by check and will mail it the next business day.
What are valid reasons for cancelling? All reasons are valid! We don't even require a reason, we just need to be notified prior to your date of check in by email or phone.
How Much Does it Cost? Travel insurance is 6% of the total cost of the reservation and must be paid with your initial deposit.
