  This was my first time being to the cabins and Gatlinburg, TN. It was a nice romantic getaway as well as a good way to bring in the New Years. I loved everything about the cabin, I actually wish I could take the bathroom back to Birmingham with me. The drive to Pigeon Forge was not bad and enjoyed the outlets. Overall the experience was unforgetable and look forward to returning with friends to make it even more enjoyable.

  We had a great stay at Mountain Hideaway. The cabin was incredible and by far the nicest of its type that we have stayed in before. It was the highlight of our trip. Views were a bit lower than what it looked like in the pictures, so I would opt for one of their cabins on higher ground next time we book. Also, the pots and pans were kind of gross and need updating. The cabin was spotless and the hot tub was great. Very happy with our stay, we will be back.

  We had a fabulous time at Mountain Hideaway. Cabin was beautiful, quiet and we were able to relax. Loved the hot tub at night. Scenery was beautiful. Only complaint was a customer service rep. that we dealt with on the phone the night before our arrival....very unprofessional with attitude. He was very frustrating. Overall, we loved our vacation and would highly recommend the same experience for anyone!

  The place was great! I would very much like to visit again in fall or winter. I was traveling alone to see the sights of the GSMNP. Gatlinburg is a bit of tourist trap so was happy to be away from town (closer by 5 miles would have been perfect). I got GREAT pictures and had a once in a life time encounter with a bear and live to tell about it!

We enjoyed the hottub every night. The only thing we wished was that it was a little closer to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

  This cabin was absolutely amazing! We aren't your low budget traveler and have stayed in many fine locations throughout the U.S. This cabin/property is 5 star quality without a doubt. We visited during summer and stayed in most of the time because the cabin was just too nice to leave. We will be back to visit the cabin (and Tennessee) again sometime during a fall season, winter season and spring season!

  My wife & I stayed at Mountain Hideaway for our honeymoon. We enjoyed the privacy and view from our cabin and also the sounds of the stream across the street. The only thing we would have liked differently was the couch. It was small and not very comfortable. Other than that, we had a wonderful time! Also, be prepared for a lot of mountain driving from the cabin to Gatlinburg, about 20 mins; but very nice views along the way.

  The cabin was awesome but the drive to get anywhere was just too long. One night we had to run to the store and we had to drive for 15 minutes just to find an open gas station. Other than that it was a very pleasant experience!

  *The TV in the bathroom could be bigger and mounted on a swivel so it can pivot.
  *The fireplace in the bedroom made a "clicking" sound that was annoying while trying to rest/sleep.

  The cabin location, layout, decor, and it's amenities were well thought out when this was put together. There was nothing about this cabin my husband and I did not like. The kitchen had everything we could need to make our own food to save money. Everything in the cabin was labeled for easy usage. (Which switches control which lights and how to operate every piece of equipment.) It was truly an amazing, worry-free, relaxing place to stay. Thank you!   We enjoyed this cabin so much last year, we decided to return this year. The view of the mountains is breathtaking from both upper & lower decks. We've never slept in a bed so comfortable. We wanted to bring it home with us! Loved the California rain shower and the hot tub. The pool table is probably our favorite ammenity. We played every night! The rocking chairs on the upper deck are so comfortable. We stayed on the deck almost all day when we didn't go out. The porch swing on the lower deck was great! That's the first thing I did every morning. It's comfortable and it swings perfectly. I will add that the clothes dryer was very dusty on top and the accent lights and the flood light for the grill were not working. Also the battery for the grill ignite button and 2 remotes were not working but my husband just swapped them out of a remote from the bathroom which we weren't going to use. The only change we'd like to see would be a larger more comfortable sofa. But all in all we had a great time and hope to return again.

  anyone from the property management group! (No papers, no check-in, no check-out) We had such a fun time! The bed was unbelievably comfortable, the shower was very relaxing, the hot tub and jacuzzi were wonder, the grill on the patio was such a wonderful tool

  I loved the cabin. It was very romantic. It was about a 15 minute drive from parkway, which was nice because it wasnt as crowded. The cabins are kind of close together but there are only 4 or 5 on the street and the builders did a really good job making the balconies private.

  This was a wonderful stay. the property is 9 miles from gatlinburg, but 9 miles with roads only going 40mph is not short driving, took about 15-20 minutes at casual pace. I did after I was able to locate the property ENJOYED very much that it was away from the bigger parts of towns. We had no noise, no problems, and it was extremely relaxing. The details on the website were very outdone once ariving at the cabin, definetly they do not give themselves enough credit when describing their cabins.

  We really loved this cabin. Very well equipped and super clean. The shower is to die for. We were celebrating 36 years of marriage and this was our private little bit of heaven for 3 days. It was a little further from Gatlinburg than we had hoped, but we got used to it and it was worth it to get such a nice place. Check in/check out was easy. Everyone was helpful and it was well worth the money. We highly recommend Mountain Hideaway!

  Breathtaking view of the beautiful mountains! Hot tub was great. Rocking chairs and the swing were so comfortable. We spent most of our time during the day on the decks. The electric fireplaces were amazing! The pool table was so much fun. We shot pool every night and some during the day. The one thing I wanted to bring home with us was the bed. I have never slept on anything so comfortable. My husband has a back problem and it did not bother him at all while we were there. Both of us haven't slept good since we've been home. Everything about the Mountain Hideaway cabin was amazing and perfect.
  We've been going to the Smoky Mountains for over 25 years and this cabin is light years ahead of any of the other cabins we've stayed in. We are definately going back every year. It's paradise on earth!

  The cabin was absolutely wonderful, everything was just as it said it would be. I would definitely book this cabin again. The only downfall about this cabin is that it took at least 10 minutes to get to Gatlinburg and 15 or more to get to Pigeon Forge. So, if you plan on getting out alot and doing things, it may not be the cabin for you. But, if you want to relax and spend time together, 5 stars for sure!
