  This cabin is wonderful. The cabin was clean and had everything inside of it you could ask for. The only problem I had is there is no view and the hot tub is all the way down on the basement floor. I would still recommend this cabin. Only had one problem with the staff when we asked for a few extra towels ( we had 12 people and they only gave us enough towels for 10.).

  My husband and I have been to Gatlinburg before but this was our first visit with Elk Springs Resort...all I can say is WOW! The location is wonderful, you are within 5-10 mins of everything in Gatlinburg and even though all of the cabins are relatively close, you still feel secluded. Compared to our last visit (we stayed with Sugar Maple Cabins), we were extremely impressed with the cabin. The layout was nice and open so everyone could spend time together, very nice large kitchen, the theater room was great and the cabin was spotless. Definitely the cleanest and nicest cabin we have ever stayed in. We did this as a family vacation and there were 9 of us total (6 adults and 3 children), overall we were all very impressed and can not wait to go back! We have already started checking rates so we can plan our next vacation as soon as possible. We stayed for 5 nights/6 days and still did not want to leave. I would highly recommend this resort and cabin to everyone I know.

Finders Keepers fit our family perfectly, the kitchen/dinning/den area was large enough for us to come together to reunite and renew our family bond, while the rest of the cabin provided unique opportunities for entertainment, rest, and privacy. This was our second year to stay at Elk Springs Resort and has definitely become a family tradition that we hope to continue for many years to come.   The chalet is beautiful! We had family from Amarillo, Tx, Perdido Key, FL, and New Orleans, LA. We had a great time! The only complaint I have is that the washer/dryer was a little below expectations. We washed towels every night, which was no big deal with that many people. But, the washer didn't spin all the water out and the dryer took forever to dry them. Other than that, we loved the place!

  Finders Keepers was great. Loved the theather room, pool table, and screened porch. Not much parking, but we were lucky the cabin beside us was vacant and mgt let us park there as well. Loved all the wood, but it made squeaky floors. Found some spiders on the basement level, but not too bad for being in the woods. My famiy was so impressed by the cabin! I want to thank Katie for answering all my questions and getting us a good rate on this cabin. If our famiy wants to do another vacation in Gatlinburg, I am pretty sure we would stay with Elk Springs again!

  The only issues we had were there were not enough towels. I guess we could have called and asked for more, but we didn't. There were only 10 towels and for that size cabin, I feel like there should have been more. There was also a tapping noise in one of the downstairs bedrooms, but someone came immediately to check it out. Overall, we loved the cabin! The theater room was the best. We will definitely continue to use Elk Springs. The location is so convenient, and easy to get to and the staff is very friendly. We love the easy check-in. Thank you!

    Hi Janey! There are extra towels in the cabinets in all the bathrooms. Sorry this wasn't obvious to you and please do call, we certainly would be happy to assist you. You are correct, for a cabin that large there should be more towels, that's why we keep more under the cabinets.

  We really enjoyed our time at Finders Keepers. It was a little pricey. That is what would keep us from doing this more than once a year. We would really like to take advantage of the cabin in the off season and enjoy the mountains. It was a beautiful cabin and a great floor plan. We really enjoyed ourselves. We hope to come back next year, but if you have any great deals this winter, we might be interested earlier.

  This title couldn't even come close to explaining how great our stay was. Very cozy environment with plenty to do in the surrounding areas. The best part was waking up each morning to a beautiful skyline viewed from the rocking chair on the top floor balcony. Love it, love it, love it!!!! The staff was great and the wild life was no where to be found (a good thing). Would be just my luck to fall while a bear or raccoon chased me LOL. All and all as the title states, we'll KEEP all the memories we FOUND there and if anyone should lose the opportunity to go, you will surly weep. Thanks again for a GREAT vacation!!!!   Our cabin could not have been nicer! The kitchen was great, and the younger ones loved the theatre! The only thing we missed was a more private deck with lots of rocking chairs and a better view.
  There were trees, but we could not see mountains or down into the city. It is conveniently located right off the Craft Trail, and we had easy access to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge without fighting all the traffic. I like the check-in method. Jane C.

  Cabin was great and everything was as advertised. The theater room was fantastic as well as the air hockey and hot tub.
  
  Our only minor issue was that the kitchen was equipped as well as we would have liked. A four slice toaster would be a big help, and the selection of utensils and pots/pans was minimal.
  
  The dishwasher also had issues. The dishes we found in the cabinet had dried food on the glasses and silverware. Probably due to the water not being hot enough or the quality of the dishwashing detergent.
  
  However, we still wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

  We were originally booked for Beary Cozy, but the pictures did not match the actual cabin. Not even expecting it, they upgraded us to Finders Keepers. We were very impressed with the staff and cabin. We will definitely be back!!

  The house was perfect for our family reunion, the size and accommodations were perfect. I have two small items to comment upon - the grill was not clean enough to use, and it would be helpful to have instructions in the media room.   Initially we had booked Knotty and Nice but due to scheduling conflicts we were given Finders Keepers. Therefore our view was not what we had anticipated but none the less it was a wonderful stay in the cabin. The cabin was beautifully and comfortably decorated with a few minor missing items. First of all the photos on the website make the interior rooms of the cabin appear much larger than they are. Secondly, we were unable to take advantage of the many decks and porches on the house since there were no outdoor furnishings. The website said there were 8 rocking chairs but none were at the cabin. We did pull out some chairs to sit outside and enjoy the peaceful beauty of the woods. I would also suggest some comfortable chairs/loveseat and occasional tables be placed upstairs in the room where the pool table and air hockey table are so one can sit and enjoy watching tv or the others play. The theater room was amazing! As a former luxury vacation rental home owner I would suggest that mattress covers be placed on the beds (not the plastic kind) for protection of the mattresses, comfort and sanitary reasons. The house was very clean when we arrived. The bathrooms were stocked with towels and toilet paper. We had a few minor issues when we arrived but the property management was quick to resolve them. Very pleasant dealing with the maintenance department too. We were surprised at how many cabins were on the property and how close they were to each other but there was never an issue with privacy or noise. The only thing we didn't enjoy at this cabin was the location of the hot tub which was tucked away on the lower level in the back on a small patio. With so many cabins to choose from you are sure to find one that suits your style. I would highly recommend Elk Springs Resort.

  My friend has already booked a smaller cabin with Elk Springs Resort for February for her anniversary! Our two families just stayed at Finder's Keepers at Elk Springs Resort. We plan on coming back. Homes were very nice, very clean, beds were comfortable, (loved the comfy bedspreads). My son wants to get a bunch of friends together and do spring break. I would, and will recommend to all of my friends. We have stayed at 3 other nice resorts/cabins over the years, and we all thought Elk Springs Resort was the best!

  I brought my family to stay at this resort and was definitely pleased. What was most impressive was the on site manager who went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was pleasurable. We stayed in a brand new cabin which had a few kinks to work out and he took alot of personal time to make our stay the best it could be. We hope to visit soon again.

  There's good news and there's bad news! That's what we were told when we pulled up. The good news is that the cabin is brand new and you will be the first ones to stay in it...ditto for the bad news. This was absolutely the truth for our stay! The community (not what I would consider a resort) was beautiful and brand new. All the cabins are gorgeous with modern amenities, and I believe all of them have theaters. The only thing we could complain about was that ours wasn't quite finished, so they were still working on it through the second day or our stay. Lucky for you, this won't be a problem! Andy, the property owner/manager, was very warm and helpful. We are pretty laid back, so we were just happy to be there. Oh and one more thing, use the directions on their website, Google Maps was wrong and when I called the 866 number for help, the reservationist couldn't help me b/c she was in Oregon! Thank goodness for my Blackberry! Overall a great stay and we will go back!
