  When you think of Heaven- think of Elk Springs resort Cabins. Our recent stay was just "AWESOME" we all had the most wonderful time. Our Grandchildren didn't want to leave and neither did we. From the moment you enter the property until the time you will leave will be just breath taking. Heaven here on earth is one of the only ways for us to describe ESR. Whoever designed these rentals didn't leave a stone unturned. They covered any and everything a family could want except "Groceries" and I'm sure if they knew your eating habits they would have tried to arrange it for you. We are now planning our trip back next year. Again we thank the Elk Springs Resort staff for a five (5) star week. Keep up the great work and God bless you all!

  We just enjoyed a wonderful vacation at Firefly Lodge. The cabin was perfect for us. Well furnished, very clean and super comfortable. The theater room was a nice touch and our 8 year old daughter loved the bunked double beds. We'll be back!

  everything was really nice, but I stay one entire night waiting for somebody in maintenance because one of the Jacuzzi was not working and I call the office and they tall me that they were going to send somebody. That never happened. But everything else was good

  First visit to Gatlinburg and I LOVED my stay. Beautiful cabin located in the artsy community. About 10 minutes from downtown. Cabin was just as presented in website images. Furniture was current and in great condition. The home theatre was fantastic for kids but there were lots of tears in the chairs. Overall a wonderful experience and plan to visit again next year.
  
  Only complaint was the HVAC was really out of balance. The downstairs was cold and the bedrooms upset were very hot (folks sleeping upstairs were up all night sweating). We opened windows the second night and solved that issue.

  The property was very nice and clean. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because our fireplace didn't work and our washing machine had issues spinning out. The people were very nice, though. We had a very nice time ! :)

  From the moment you walked into Firefly Lodge you felt like you were home! The cabin was immaculate. Everything from the kitchen to the bathrooms were spotless. It is stocked with all the essentials you need, especially in the kitchen. It's location is very convenient to Downtown Gatlinburg as well as Pigeon Forge and all the other local attractions. We were a group of 10 ( 6 adults and 4 kids all under 4 years old) and we could not have been happier with our stay.
  
  On another note, the Elk Springs staff was always very helpful and informative. We would definetly recommend Elk Springs Resort Cabins.

  The Firefly Lodge is a beautiful cabin. We made use of the game tables as well as the theater room. Close to many activities. We ziplined, rode the rapids, went site seeing, ate and shopped. Staff was very helpful. You can hear others on the upper floor but not bothersome. Just wish my cell phone provider could have picked up a signal. Wireless worked great. Overall a fun trip to the mountains.

  We were very satisfied with this rental. It was very clean and close enough to everything we wanted to do and see. It would have been a bonus to have had a more expansive view of something other than the nearby woods, but we did have plenty of privacy. The home theater room was awesome! We watched movies there almost every night. We do wish there were a few more towels and definitely needed extra tp - especially with 8 of us there!

  Cabin was very nice, plenty of room for our family, private setting-we could relax on the deck without seeing anyone in another cabin, convenient to Gatlinburg and National Park, cabin amenities were great; theater, grill, hot tub, wi-fi, etc. We did have quite a few centipedes on the main floor, it wasn't a huge deal-but you did have to watch where you stepped, but hey it's a cabin in the mountains...

  A fantastic vacation getaway spot. Cabin in great condition, furniture, appliances all top of line. Clean, quiet. Movie theater is great. Small things to consider for improvement: in amenities, maybe adding shower caps, small bottles of shampoos/conditioners. Also check out time seems too early to be at 10AM. The location is not particularly easy to find, particularly driving in the evenings. Suggest to make signs more visible. Otherwise, an enthusiastic "10" for the property!!!

  There was only one little negative thing - it was the road we were on and the parking. It was gravel and they must have had a lot of rain as there were large ruts where the road was washed out. I believe they will be paving soon.....but this was really a minor issue considering how nice the cabin was.

  An exceptional stay at an exceptional place. The cabin (if you can call it that) was terrific and a delight in every respect. I have but one suggestion and that involves directions. Altho we had no major hiccups finding it, a better description of the routes, lights, and landmarks would be extremely helpful, particularly if someone is arriving at night. Other than that, I give this property SIX STARS out of FIVE.

  The cabin was top notch! Everything was as advertised, and we felt it was a great buy for the money. My wife inadvertently left her wallet in the cabin at checkout, and the staff retrieved it and got it back to us a day after they were notified. The only issue we had was with the temperature on the second floor, as it was always 10-15 degrees warmer, but I guess that just comes with the territory. We will definitely be back to Elk Springs.

  My husband has been deployed for the fourth time in Iraq (USMC) and descided to take a vacation in Gatlinburg, TN. We would like to thank you for the opportunity to stay in the Firefly Lodge for our vacation. The time spent was a cozy, comfortable, and fun time. We were looking for a three bedroom that included a movie theater, hot tum, air hockey, and the Wii. This cabin included all of that and more.
  
  There is the leak in the bunkbed room upstairs. During a long shower we would hear a drip for a while then the water would leak into the hot tub in the master suite downstairs. We were very concerned with the electrical lines for the recessed lighting and the wood getting warped. Second, the noise that comes from upstairs above the master suite, mainly by walking or tv, would wake us because of no carpet on the floor. Third, the cabin was nicely read up except it was dusty. I do have a problem with dust. If there is a large amount of dust, I tend to sneeze alot. I looked around and noticed baseboards, light fixtures, wall hangings, window sills, and electronics not cleaned.
  
  The following are small items to bring to your attention: Bunkbed bathroom door locks but can be pushed open while locked, Upstairs King bedroom jacuzzi handle wiggles, theater room chair at the wall on the bottom is broke, a cup was cracked, and plate chipped. Thank you for switching out the toaster for us to make toast so quickly.
  
  Even though these things were a concern, we made it a priority to have a wonderful time together as a family. The cabin is very beautifully made and nicely done. I love the steps

  In August of 2008, we stayed at Elk Springs Resort in Firefly Lodge due to a mandatory evacuation because of Hurricane Gustav. Our home town took a direct hit with the eye of the storm, so we decided to make a vacation out the evacuation. Upon arrival of Elk Springs Resort, I was impressed with the property and our beautiful log cabin. The cabin was very spacious and nicely equipped with everything we needed (and more) during our stay. We couldn't believe how nice the cabin was for such a good price. And to top things off, the staff was very generous at our time of need by allowing us stay in the cabin for 3 additional nights at less than half of the standard nightly rate. We are very thankful that there were kind hearted people willing to help us out. I would recommend Elk Springs Resort to anyone looking for breath-taking scenery and a true log cabin vacation in the Smokies.
