  We stayed at "A Desire Fullfilled", and I must say it was lovely! We came up from Atlanta GA, and other than three different road closeures, the trip wasn't that bad (if coming from the Atl. area, DO NOT TAKE 441 through Cherokee. A landslide has the road closed for quite some time to come). Everything was perfect in the cabin, except no cell phone service (which could be a good or a bag thing depending on how detached u want to be from the outside world). The view was decent, lots of ice/snow covered trees and that's about it, but in all honestly, the view was not the selling point for us in choosing this cabin. The 19ft rain shower, on the other hand was, and it was amazing, it has been difficult going back to a normal shower after that! Overall the whole experience was great, we loved the openness of the cabin, the quite area on the mountainside was very peaceful, the hot tub was super relaxing and rejuvenating, the kitchen and grill was a wonderful bonus helping us stay in the cabin as much as possible, and the pool table was a nice way to pass the time. The strip in Gatlinburg was nice and the numerous little shops and restaurants had a little mountain town charm that was fun to experience. We would absolutely recommend Elks Spring Resort, and will be coming back in the future! What a wonderful weekend!!!

  It would have been helpful to have someone from the resort meet with us and inform us of things to do. We had to figure things out ourselves and I was not ready for that. The cabin was nice but the tvs were small. I also would have liked to checked out at 12 instead of 10 am. I was pleased with the overall appearance of the cabiin but I would have liked to have had more interaction with the staff because I am fairly new to Gatlingburg.

  The cabin that we stayed at was spectacular. It really had everything and the best part was the lower level theater room with pool table. The kids especially enjoyed this room. We had originally booked a different cabin and when we arrived we realized that we needed more space. The management at Elk Springs Resort were very accommodating and found us a bigger cabin for the same price. They were helpful and wanted to make sure that we were satisfied. We have never experienced this kind of service from a rental company. We will definitely rent here again and recommend this resort to friends.

  I would recommend Elk Springs to anyone. There was a mix-up on our reservation Friday night and the staff could not have been more helpful and courteous. The cabins are absolutely gorgeous and very well maintained. I travel incessantly for work so I'm pretty picky, but Elk Springs definitely out performed my expectations. One note on A Desire Fulfilled - fabulous cabin but don't expect any privacy in the hot tub on the deck. Enjoy!!!

  While I would recommend this property to a friend, I would caution them to arrive before night. GPS and mapquest will not help you in finding the resort as it sits at the very top of the "hill/mountain." It was very new and clean and the amenties were more than enough to satisfy. Oh yes and word to the wise if heigts are a fear of yours ask for the cabins that sit at the bottom of the hill. lol

We recommend using these directions as they are very specific to avoid travel issues.   It wasn't awful. We were cooking for 8 people 2 nights. There are no sponges, just washcloths to clean pans with, which got difficult. Also, it was impossible to clean the stove top because there were no cleaning supplies. Even a tiny bottle of cleaner would work, but we couldn't get some of the burnt food off the stove.
  
  The kitchen has pots and pans. When we arrived some of the pans had food still on them from previous guests. Not really Elk Springs' fault. But in order to cook for 8 people we had trouble because of the lack of deep pans or large mixing bowls. Again, it wasn't awful, we just struggled finding a way to cook/bake with the bowls we had there. I'm sure they don't expect many people like us to do that much cooking. But if you do, you might want to bring along some of your own bowls and pans just in case.

  First time staying in a cabin in Gatlinburg had a wonderful time. We stayed in a Desire Fulfilled and the cabin was absolutely fantastic! It was very clean and well stocked in the kitchen which was important as we stayed in and fixed out meals there. Enjoyed the pool table and all other ammenities including the grill. Can't say enought about the rainfall shower Took more showers than I'm sure were necessary to use it Soooo Relaxing. Hot tub was clean and warm loved sitting out there on snowy night. Only complaint is the closeness to the other cabin did not make for much privacy when out enjoying the balcony and tub. One of the best 3 days loved it would definetly stay there again!!! Recommend Highly.

  I really enjoyed my stay at a Desire Fulfilled in the Elk Springs Resort. Everything was very clean and in great condition. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the lack of a view. Our view was just the forest but it was still nice.

  I am extremely picky about where I stay and I can be very uncomfortable if things are not spotless. I must say when we walked into our cabin I was VERY proud to say that this was MY idea. I didn't even bring groceries because I normally can not eat in a rental if things are not perfect. I must say because we arrived so late on Friday night, I got up very early and went to the grocery store so that I could make a mountain breakfast for everyone....

• AMAZING TIME! We were so happy with where we spent our week in Tennessee. The cabin was awesome and was actually better than we expected. We could relax in the hot tub, watch the fire, but my favorite was the rain shower. The cabin was PERFECT!

  This was our first "family" vacation. The boys 9 & 12 had a blast. Did a lot of tourist stuff and the cabin was perfect. We were all very excited to see bear prints in the mud outside the cabin...I guess you could say excited, maybe nervous is a good word too. Never did see the bear but the cabin next to us got the pleasure.

  Our stay was everything we hoped it would be. The cabin and location were beautiful! The only suggestion we would make would be to find a better way to store trash. The bears on the porch getting into the trash was a bit too close to nature for us.

  This was our 3rd visit to Elk Springs Resort within 6 months. We love it there! The cabins are brand new and are very modern. The cabin we stayed in this time, A Desire Fulfilled, was breathtaking with its floor to ceiling 2-story windows. The staff, especially Andy, is always very friendly and helpful. We can't wait to go back! The only negative was that the outlets in both bathrooms didn't work. Being a newer resort, we understand that they are still trying to get all the little kinks worked out. Overall, a wonderful place to stay!

• We very much enjoyed the modern cabin with 4 flat panel TV's, pool table, foosball, jacuzzi's and 17' waterfall shower and a great wooded setting. We are looking forward to our next visit.

  Upon arrival we found the cabin in wonderful condition it was very clean, things were in order and the cabin was very well kept. The location was perfect and the cabin it's self and the view were just beautiful. The cabin was just as nice as the pictures on the internet made it out to be. We had a wonderful weekend that I would gladly repeat. I would stay here or at any other of Elk springs cabins. The only thing that was frustrating was the help at the check in office. It was a young man, he was a nice young man and friendly but gave very poor directions on how to get up to the cabin. But after we found it, our weekend was great!
