  Great property! Well maintained and very comfortable. Not very secluded and no real view to speak of (unless you consider the neighbors cabin a view) but that was not important in our criteria when we chose it. 5 adults, 1 teen, and two children were very comfortable in this cabin.

  We had a very relaxing nice visit at Elk Springs Resort. Thank you for maintaining and providing the area with a beautiful place to rent. After experiencing the traffic in the Pigeon Forge area it was so nice to have a place outside of the hustle and bustle with a grocery store so close by. Thanks again.

  We stayed over the Christmas holidays and the place was amazing. The view was simply beautiful. Our entire family is still talking about how roomy the Southern Philosophy was. No one was in any one way. Every one agreed that we would do more holidays there and we would use the same place and location. The staff made us feel very welcome and was vert friendly and met our needs. I would highly recommend this place can't wait to visit in the summer time.

  ALl my famiy and friends that went and enjoyed the cabin it was beautiful. There were a few things like the septic back , but it was taken care of promtly. Whenever I called the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would love to go back maybe in the spring.

  We have been coming to the area for 7 years, bringing our children and grandchildren, always renting a luxury cabin. This was our first time at Elk Springs, and it is our favorite cabin and resort area ever. We will use it from now on! The detailed info on the community center and directions was an added bonus. Elk Springs was way above or=ther rental agencies we've used in terms of information and quality.

  Exhale and leave your worries at the door! The beauty of the cabin and splendor of the view were beyond our expectations! Our family vacation was wonderful and we look forward to returning to Elk Springs and Gatlinburg. We have memories that will last a life time. The staff was very helpful and professional(thanks Marty). The checkin/out process was the easiest i've ever experienced while traveling. The cabin was spacious, the beds were very comfortable,and we enjoyed the hot tub and theater room. Southern Philosphy has all the southern charm you could ask for and more. AWESOME vacation!

  We had a great time. The cabins were spacious and clean. It felt like a home away from home with everything we needed. Gatlinburg is a quaint area with many attractions and entertainment. We loved Dollywood and Dolly Splash. We will be back soon.

  We had a wonderful time at this cabin. In fact, our evenings spent together at the cabin was a highlight of our trip. We particular enjoyed the in-home theater, billards and darts. All the rooms were wonderful. One small item - When we arrived the upstairs
  loft area had not been cleaned. We called management, but it took a 2nd phone call and 2 days to get the area cleaned, and receive missing supplies requested for the cabin. For future like calls, I suggest management should make a follow-up call to confirm
  guests are satisfied and cleaning was done. One other comment regarding the cabin, there is an outdoor gazebo and eating area, but not easily accessable. This was a disappointment, as it was one of the reasons we chose this cabin. A walkway needs to be installed
  for it to become usable.

  For us, the location was good. We don't like staying that close to all the commotion. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty to keep everyone entertained. We are definitely considering coming back.

  This resort was, by far, THE best resort i have stayed in, since i've been vacationing in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. I loved the view while finding the cabin, i loved the view from the cabin, and i loved the views while driving to and through downtown Gatlinburg. The cabin was extremely clean and very luxurious, pleasing our whole group as soon as we opened the door to the main living room. All in all, this was a very exceptional place to visit, and there WILL be more visits for years to come. THANK YOU!!

  This home was absolutely beautiful,larger than what we needed, but we utilized all of the space. This home is peaceful and relaxing, just what is needed when on vacation. The only suggestion would be for them to change their wood floor cleaner. It is much too slippery, epecially near the basement stairs. Don't wear socks!

  Southern Philosophy was a beautiful cabin!Although it was not as secluded as I had originally had thought. The cabin is situated in a subdivision with the cabins near each other. It was perfect for 4 families with small kids(private rooms and bathrooms). We loved the theater room and the wrap around balconies! The location of the resort was great and convenient to all the area attractions. We all agreed that we would stay here again!!!

  We statyed at Southern Philosphy Aug. 2010. We were thrilled with the cabin. The pictures did not do it justice. The cabin was tastefully decorated, clean and full of nice amenities. IT is a little drive to get into Gaitlinburg, but nothing unreasonable. I would highly recommend this particular cabin. I can not speak to the other cabins within the Elk Springs community. But the general area was clean and for the most part, quiet.

  We stayed a week at Southern Philosophy. We all had a great time. The cabin had plenty of space for 2 families of 4 and 1 couple. The 4 kids took over the lowest level with their own bunkroom, fridge, full bath, theater room, full bathroom and pool table in the den area. The "master" bedroom and bath with whirlpool tub was great. Also the hot tub on the patio was a big hit. We appreciated the fully equipped kitchen and the large table that accommodated all 10 of us. The staff called with our access code and were very helpful with directions and asking how our trip to the cabin was going. We had no problems during the whole week. Very relaxing and enjoyable.

  Southern Philosphy is a great place! The cabin (mansion) is spacious, inviting, and very nicely furnished. You feel like you live there 5 minutes after arriving. The deck provides a great view and the theatre allows for nice private viewing of your favorite movie. Just wished I could have stayed longer. I would also like to visit in the winter if I have a chance. Well done Elk Springs onwers/managers!

  Elk Springs was wonderful. The made our family reunion just perfect. We watched our video that we put together with pictures and music all together in the the theater room. These chalets were just beautiful. They were easy for my Grandmother to get around with a bad hip and being 80 years old. We had a perfect weekend. We will ONLY stay at Elk Springs from now on! Thank you for making our dreams come true. Lots of memories were made there!

  Fabulous! All amenities were great, hot tub, pool table and movie room! The best cabin I have ever been to! Management was very helpful and professional.   I booked with Elk Spring for the first time this Christmas and was very pleased. The cabin was new and accommodated the 10 of us very well. We especially enjoyed the theater room and downstrairs game room. The cabin could have been cleaned better but we surprised the staff with an early arrival which gave them little time for a thorough cleaning. The few problems we did encounter where quickly & happily addressed by the management. We have rented in Gatlinburg several times & have always rented isolated cabins. Elk Spring has more of a subdivision feel but I found that I liked that setting just as much. Thanks Elk Spring; we'll be back!
